Corey J. Harris
Mr. Harris is the Executive Director of Neighborhood Housing & Development Corporation (NHDC), a private nonprofit 501(c)(3) with a mission to promote and provide affordable housing opportunities for low- and moderate-income residents of North Central Florida. Mr. Harris is responsible for strategic planning and operations for NHDC. NHDC operates a Homeownership Center which focuses on Homeownership Promotion & Preservation, Asset/Property Management, and Real Estate Development. Its Homeownership Center serves over 300 families and helps to facilitate approximately $10 million in annual investments in the local community.
Mr. Harris earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and English from Florida State University, holds an active Florida Real Estate License, and has been a Realtor since 2005. He also served as City of Archer Mayor from 2016-2018 and served on the boards of Alachua County Affordable Housing Coalition and Habitat for Humanity. Mr. Harris currently serves on the National NeighborWorks Association board of directors, serves as an advisor to the Northwest Archer Community Association, and is a board member of the Archer Church of God in Christ.
